These are some photos I've taken with a Jakks Pacific Action Shot, which is a cheap knockoff GoPro from about 2011 that I found at a thrift store and fixed up with a new battery. I have a different page for nice photos from my regular camera but I thought the vibe of these is more at home here. Enjoy!
The fixed exposure and tiny aperture on this thing are so strange . But I guess so is shooting photos with a camera meant to be strapped to your snowboard .
Threw the ActionShot in my bag going out the other day since I haven't shot with it in a while .
Hard at work on this very website .
It has a fixed wide-angle lens and the preview screen isn't even as wide as the photos it takes, which is kind of fun . It makes you think small and work for a good frame in a way that reminds me of shooting pictures with a Nintendo DSi .
Something weird happened to this one.
Immediately after getting it to start up . The battery I bought is too big to fit where the old one sat so I had to tape it to the side .
